Property As a Real Right

Property ownership can be regarded as one of the most comprehensive real rights. It allows the owner full control to occupy, posses and dispose of property as they please. When a mortgage bond is registered over the property however, the real right is transferred to the Bondholder/ Financier, enabling them to reposes the property should the borrower default on paying back the money borrowed timelessly.
